Ive just spent 2 .3 days there. Must say that it was worth it for sure Agent but now looking forward to Omaka (and Hood on the 24th)
The Sunday was best with sunny afternoon skies and the show was non stop!

Pretty well same old same old planes weve seen everywhere else this year (bar the La-9m Yak-3 and Zeke) but lots of them and very well presented.
I also sold some prints, scored a nice Fw190 model and made contact with the Fighter Pilots and RNZAF museums for more possible print sales. Very worth while.

Hers a couple of shots

Also we checked out this place on the way home: Image (http://s529.photobucket.com/albums/dd33 ... 20Omarama/) after stopping at Omarama for a cuppa whilst watching gliders take off and land - sorry R33GZ couldn't stick around too long.

Warbirds over Wanaka

Postby Sloop » Tue Apr 06, 2010 7:14 pm

A few very "snap-shot-style" pics - best I can do with my rig, I'm afraid. The other part of the problem was that when I e-mailed most of them to myself, the programme only chose to send one of each group of 4 or 5 p- It's also a pity that there are not many shots of craft in the air, but at least I managed one of the Hornets

Because this forum theme truncates images on the right, you might want to use the thumbnails when posting from such places as photobucket.

Sloop - if you click the thumbnails on your images at photobucket it shows two links - one for 'IMG Code' and one for 'IMG Thumb'. Copy the second one into your post like this:

And presto you can click through to the bucket images - although not direct to the biggest version.

Or if you "Attach" images like Famin has above to your post they'll thumbnail themselves (I think).

Definitely some feelings of jealously here. If I'd had the money, I would have paid the price of admission for the Zero alone. ;)
