I gotta say Im not fussed on the ai. Had to force myself to join today to give them another try, and its just a grind. Shoot 2-3 trying to get into, say, the firestation at elecktro, so use 20-30 rounds making sure they're dead. Find a mag if you're lucky and then run into and kill another 2-3 just moving around. They don't aggro the Z's, but I do, so I can't get a safe shot off when I contact them, while they ping away with impunity, so if you get into a close firefight, you get swamped in zombies and they don't, and then you get shot running away from the 20 z's trying to eat you.

Also the AI chopper will be able to shoot down the ah6/mh6 easily, and if you're flying solo, the huey is a sitting duck too.

Just too much of a pain in the ass unless you like respawning every 3 minutes, and I'd hate to think what a nightmare they'd be if you only had 6 shells and a handgun!

I've been meaning to join in and give it a blast but haven't seen anyone else on this week to join up with. Also been busy playing Epoch.

I'll try to join over the weekend if I see a few others on. Sunday night will be out for me this week though.

Can always tweak the AI to far reduced numbers, and exclude them from certain areas.

Might be able to make the Heli Patrol unarmed :)

Due to the way the Zeds are setup I cant get them to attack the AI :(
Might be able to get them to mob the gunfire sound at least though.

The AI still spawn one *armed* Heli.

Static AI spawns have been removed (Cherno etc)

Dynamic AI spawns are still active, no idea when or where they spawn!

Server updated to 1.8.0.3 (Please let me know if its working)

The higher the number, the more rarer the likelyhood is of that AI loadout being assigned.
However, should we exclude any of those weapons?

have to see how they play out =] Are you able to set their shooting ability to the low end? I'm wary of super shooting AI skills, straight up 300 metre single shot assault rifle kills will be a bummer!

And the server kicks me on a public variable #1 restriction. BE filter problem?

Any chance I can look at the AI scripts?

From what I've seen, they spawn in after you arrive, so you check a place, think its safe, and then get ambushed with close fire and are lucky to get away alive. I don't mind this against players - killed a guy last night who rushed me in the eleckro firestation, but when the AI don't aggro zombies its not fun, just a pain. Was checking the factory up from Dolina, just me on, and got lit up by two AI, stanags and mp5 rounds. Was lucky to get to cover before bleeding out and bandaged/eat some food. Tried to spot them from the second floor, but was taking so much fire I combat logged and can't be fagged getting back in.

Attacking players would be drawing zombies and having to defend themselves, but the AI just go hard with no zombie threat. Death sentence in close combat unless you have a sniper spotting for you!

Thanks man - I did a search when you mentioned them, but couldnt find a reference =]

Had a quick look through, just need to work out what variables its pulling from the DZ scripts to see whats going on.
