Speaking of Ticket to Ride - it just got the full ipad retina treatment... plus some more DLC/IAP.

Ubisoft (them of the evil DRM) have launched their UPlay store and are selling a few titles for 1 Euro. Today it's Silent Hunter V Collector's Edition. I've heard very modest things about SH5 but for 1 Euro...... might be worth checking out.

EDIT: Hmm change it to NZD and the special price becomes NZ$44. Change it to AUD and it's $1. Looks like they're not keen on the NZ store. Dunno if you can buy as AUD.

The Warehouse have Kingdom of Amular PS3 going for $19.97 in their bargain bin in their Palmy store. I already have the game and like it. It's got an easy to pick up game play style and the graphics are nice. As someone who jumps around with games I've found that I like how KOA shows which quest that you are on and where to go next. I'm happy to take my time doing side quest's and learning the in game mechanics.

I am finding my lack of storage space to be an annoyance, I have 70 slots but only ever seem to have a few free for loot.

The Warehouse seem to do the odd really good deals on bargain bin games, I've got Dragons Dogma and God of War Collection for the same price in the past.

I bought it and then realised that the large advert for it on the front page was only for TOH, not the hinds addon.!!

I looked again after purchase and saw there was a little one with the addon!!

Green Man Gaming has a 25% off voucher running until Friday which means you can get XCom for US$38 (Steam).

Not bad - especially given how good the reviews are!

It unlocks tomorrow... and if my (Inspire) pre-load is anything to go by it'll take a couple of days to come down anyways. Man it was crazy slow.

Hmmm yeah I've been a bit suspicious about my link lately. I was getting 0-80K and it was dribbling in. Maybe it's in the cache now I downloaded it for you! :8)

Actually there was an F1-2012 patch that came down last night very fast while XCom was crawling so it's hard to fathom.

Yay for Steam. It decided to download the WHOLE 12GB again... and yes it's grinding along all snail like. :x:

This is not the first time I've had preloads double up on bandwidth.

EDIT: Switched away from Inspire's Steam cache and it's going quite a bit faster.

EDIT2: The New Zealand setting was better.... but only 100KB/s average and slow at that. So switched to Los Angeles and am running at a steady 500KB+. Why are the NZ servers SOOOO much slower?!?

Mine downloaded another gig today, and unlocked at lunch time :)

I usually manage a good 1.5MB from Orcon, this one was only doing about 400KB..

Been playing this afternoon, so far its as good as they say!
