Sorry Wood and Sloop, my PC froze again so I called it quits, I'm not sure if discord is to blame but I really need to get round to doing a reformat.

No worries, Phas3. Woody thought that may have happened.
In your absence, we took Beaufighters with rockets and bombs and REALLY messed up the targets

I was off work sick today so I expanded the Northern Italy map to have another Allied airbase and expanded targets across the whole western side of the map (Hope you don't mind Phas3e!)
The terrain is a little different on that side so I thought it would be nice to encompass it, three more enemy airbases to attack, city's with all sorts of truck parks, bases, train stations, supply dumps moving trains, vehicles and more aircraft patrolling that side of the map. A slightly different plane set at the new base but all aircraft from both bases can RRR at either location.
Might have to get some recon missions underway...

Whats the difference in the planeset? the original base had pretty much everything in the MTO that was there IRL.

Nothing, I edited them to be the same. performance is good even thought the file size is getting up there, changed conditions to late afternoon, clear and that's about it.
Target areas are good, copy and pasted most stuff and reworked it to fit. Should be good for some epic runs _b

Cool, One thing you can do is make the P38 a later version with Air Brakes, The current one doesnt have any.

Had a chance to do a quick recce of the first town on our way up North, its heavily defended but luckily I got pictures of the two main barrages.

The town of Faenza

Emplacement on the East side of the river.

Emplacement in the center of the town.

Lots of other softer targets to chew up after these main hot zones have been takin care of and an airfield bristling with stuff and a small railway marshaling yard and trucks for Africa :D .

Server up from 20:30.

See ya there! _b

Na good to have you with us Windle, you did really well by all accounts _b I think only 3 of us survived the first sortie and you were one so that's good going!
Hopefully you enjoyed it and hopefully you will become a staple part of the squad

Good job guys, very nice work tonight.

Yep welcome aboard Windle!

By the way Woody I'm pretty sure i've found the reason behind my shonky frame rates. The b#%@@= kids have been messing with my computer and changed the power settings to conserve power which turns the old girl into one of those early ZX Spectrums. I haven't tested it of course but i'm pretty certain that was behind it, so don't go changing anything because of me, be quite good to try it again actually.

Great night by the way!
