I have been getting things sorted in the back channels, we will be getting our own sub forum for all our IL2 operations and Insurgency action. _b
So I will need your help guy to start populating it with content. Screen shot threads, mission planning and briefings, Recon photos, anything to make it feel like home would be helpful.
Moderators will be Ilikepie and myself.
Agent I hope your not going to disappear, you have done a great job with kiwisim over the years and I for one thank you for giving us a home for the last 10 years, I hope you will pop in from time to time and say hi.

I'll start a 'best of' screenshot thread tobight, and dig through the old threads here, I'll make sure any new threads go there as well.

I may put up new skins for the guys to fly to help add some colour to the page and peoples game.

Hey Agent

thanks for the years bud. Kiwisim has been responsible for lasting friendships and a great sense of community (among the TFK crew) Thanks for making that possible

do you have a time line in mind for winding KS up?

I'd second Pie's comment, and you'll have no difficulty finding a whole more in line after me.

All good lads - it's been a fun ride, but it definitely feels like time to look for new pastures I reckon. It looks like you guys are getting set up OK over at SimCentral.

As for closing up shop here, there's no real rush. I've had massive work distractions to contend with over the last couple of months. Feel free to sing out when you've moved everything you need to copy/save/migrate. I'll take some backups and perhaps replace the front page with a redirect to SimCentral, but only when you're ready.

It's a shame but I guess this day has been coming for a while. I've had some great times here, playing IL2 with Cadman, Sloop etc probably over 10 years ago now. DayZ with PrimaryMan and many other games through the years.

A big thanks to Agent for your work and all the others I've met here through the years.

I'll see you about with any luck

I'm thinking for now I'll just make the forum read only for a while and decommission things later.

I do encourage you to head over to simcentral as there's the core of a good community over there. Lots of multiplayer goings on too.
